I need to get this out of my system. Maybe I'll make a poem about it, but I wanna let it out in a journal.
I've had this dream more than once. It's not really a nightmare, but it isn't happy.
The sky is entirely covered in gray clouds. The colors were cool, almost black-and-white. Much like in this deviation:

The main focus of this dream is a tall, shiny, arched architect, and freshly made building. Like this, only black and very shiny:
[link] Inside the building, there we people in business suits, both men and women.
All of them had black hair. But it seemed like they were going by so fast, that their faces were blurred. No one seemed to notice me. The stores inside the building had big black doors with round silver knobs. There were no names above the stores, and there was nothing on the shelves inside. Behind the building, on the outside walking around it, it changed entirely.
It was then rubble, cement, and rebar. A terrible mess.
It feels like a nightmare. Becoming one of those faceless people, working and hustling around, forgetting everything important, for nothing. Something that will only be dust in the end. Something that will only serve to remind us that we forgot so much. Or maybe being a helpless observer. Not being able to do anything to stop this from happening.
But it also feels like a long-lost memory, as if I'd been there before. A reminder of sorts. Like something standing behind me, tapping me on the shoulder...
